Cemil Mengi — Biography
Cemil Mengi was born on September 30, 1986, in West Berlin. An attacking midfielder, he came through the youth ranks of Türkiyemspor Berlin before moving to Turkey, where he made appearances for Çaykur Rizespor in the Süper Lig.
As a German-born player of Turkish descent, Mengi drew local interest during his time in Rize. He later returned to Germany, going on to play for clubs including Tennis Borussia Berlin, BFC Viktoria 1889, and CFC Hertha 06.
