Cem Pamiroğlu — Biography
Cem Pamiroğlu (born 17 September 1957 in Istanbul) is a Turkish former footballer and coach. A left-back, he is regarded as one of the most important players in the history of Fenerbahçe, the club with which he is most strongly associated.
He rose from Fenerbahçe's youth setup to the first team in 1975 and went on to win three Turkish league titles and two Turkish Cups with the club, serving as team captain between 1983 and 1985. With 279 Süper Lig appearances he ranks third on the club's all-time list. Loaned to Sarıyer in 1986, he joined the club permanently in 1987 and retired in 1989.
Capped 23 times for the Turkey national team, Pamiroğlu later coached Çaykur Rizespor, Şekerspor and Göztepe, and also managed the Turkish under-18 and under-19 national teams.
