Cem Adrian — Biography

Cem Filiz (born 30 November 1980 in Edirne), better known by his stage name Cem Adrian, is a Turkish singer, songwriter, composer and record producer of Bosniak descent.

He began his music career in 2003 and released his first album, "Ben Bu Şarkıyı Sana Yazdım", in 2005. Blending alternative rock, electronic music, jazz and ethnic sounds with layered vocal arrangements, he built his career largely outside the mainstream Turkish pop industry.

Adrian is renowned for his extraordinary vocal range: able to sing across registers from bass to soprano, his vocal cords are said to be three times longer than average, and he can use around five octaves of a seven-octave range.
