Cansu Yağ — Biography

Born on 22 June 1990 in Mönchengladbach, Germany, Cansu Yağ is a midfielder who spent much of her career in Turkish women's football. Directed toward the Turkish youth setup through her family background, she progressed through the U-15, U-17 and U-19 national teams before earning a call-up to the senior Turkey women's national team in 2006.

At club level she has been associated mainly with İzmir-based sides in the Turkish Women's First Football League, including Konak Belediyespor and Bornova Hitab Spor. She also studied at Trakya University, combining her academic path with a playing career that helped raise the profile of women's football in Turkey.
