Can Nergis — Biography

Can Nergis, born on May 27, 1985 in Istanbul, is a Turkish actor and model. After graduating from high school in Istanbul, he went to London for university. With the support of his aunt, fashion designer Neslihan Yargıcı, he then ventured into the Far East, working as a model in China and Thailand, and even running a restaurant in Thailand for eight years. Besides Turkish, he speaks English, Chinese, Thai, and Russian.

Nergis, who returned to Türkiye in 2011 and began acting, had her first experience in the series Her Şeye Rağmen, which ended prematurely; she had a guest appearance in Dila Hanım and a role in Paşa Gönlüm in 2014. She gained her main recognition with the character of Commissioner Onur Yalçın, which she portrayed in Arka Sokaklar during the 2014-2015 season.

After appearing in the series Maral and Tatlı İntikam, the actor joined the cast of the series Anne, which aired on Star TV in 2016, playing the character Ali Tezel; in 2018 he portrayed Tolga Erlik in Börü, and in 2022 he played Vincenzo in the series Adanış: Kutsal Kavga. Nergis, who married model Jelena Milosavljevic in 2017, has a daughter.
