Çağlar Şahin Akbaba — Biography
Çağlar Şahin Akbaba (born 17 March 1995 in İzmir) is a Turkish professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper. He was born in the Konak district of İzmir.
During his career he has played for clubs including Bucaspor and Elazığspor, and joined Boluspor in the summer of 2022. He also represented Turkey at under-19 level. In later seasons he guarded the goal for Vanspor, where he was counted among the team's standout performers.
In June 2026 he bade farewell to Vanspor and signed with TFF Second League side Batman Petrolspor, completing the move within the same month.
