Çağlar Birinci — Biography
Çağlar Birinci (born 2 October 1985 in Trabzon) is a Turkish former international footballer. Standing 1.80 m tall, he played as a defender, both on the left side and at centre-back.
A product of the Trabzonspor youth system, he went on to play for clubs including Galatasaray, Denizlispor, Kayserispor, Elazığspor, İstanbulspor, Orduspor, Akhisar Belediyespor, Karşıyaka and Altay. After representing the Turkey A2 side, he was capped four times by the Turkey national team.
Birinci announced his retirement from professional football in September 2022 and that same year took charge of Şanlıurfaspor as head coach.
