Çağla Korkmaz — Biography
Çağla Korkmaz was born on 14 November 1990 in Munich, Germany, to a Turkish immigrant family. A forward, she holds both Turkish and German citizenship and is among the German-born women who have played for Turkey.
She began her club career in the 2011-12 season with FC Stern München 1919. The next season she moved to FC Ingolstadt 04, where she played 29 matches over two seasons and scored 11 goals. After leaving Ingolstadt she transferred to 1. FC Lübars, who played in the 2. Bundesliga.
She made her debut for the Turkey women's national team in a friendly against Georgia on 24 February 2015. In all she earned 21 caps for Turkey and scored once. She is now described as a former player.
