Burak Yacan Yüksel — Biography

Burak Yacan Yüksel (born 9 March 1992 in Turkey) is a Turkish former basketball player who played as a power forward and small forward. He is listed at 6 ft 8 in, roughly 2.03 m.

He came through Anadolu Efes's youth programme, known as "First Step With Efes", and turned professional in 2010. In Turkish domestic competition he played for Aliağa Petkim and for the Melikşah University side in Kayseri.

Kayseri newspapers reported in February 2015 that his season had been cut short, and the injury he sustained that year ended his playing days. He retired with a testimonial while still in his early twenties, closing a career that had been widely tipped to go further.
