Burak Altıparmak — Biography

Burak Altıparmak is a Turkish-German footballer who was born in Berlin, began playing at Berlin clubs, and has spent his career between Germany and Turkey. A citizen of both countries, he is associated with Berliner AK 07 and 1. FC Magdeburg in Germany and, in Turkey, with Denizlispor's 1. Lig success in 2018-19. In 2026 he signed for Elazığspor and then for Kütahyaspor.

He started out in Berlin at BSV Hürtürkel and then played in the youth sections of SV Tasmania Berlin and Hertha Zehlendorf. In 2009 he moved to VfL Wolfsburg but played only for the reserve side, and in 2011 he left to join Berliner AK 07. There he became a first-team regular, playing 60 of 64 league matches, and was in the side that beat TSG 1899 Hoffenheim 4-0 in the first round of the 2012-13 DFB-Pokal.

In 2013 he joined TFF First League side Osmanlıspor on a three-year contract and was sent to third-tier Polatlı Bugsaşspor at the winter break. After spending the preparation for the 2015-16 Süper Lig season with Osmanlıspor, he terminated his contract on 28 August 2015 and joined third-tier 1. FC Magdeburg in Germany, where he worked again with manager Jens Härtel, whom he knew from Berliner AK 07; he made his Magdeburg debut on 11 September 2015 in a 1-0 defeat to Stuttgarter Kickers. In the years that followed he played in Turkey for Ankaraspor and Denizlispor, and then for Iğdır FK in August 2024, Sakaryaspor in January 2025 and Elazığspor in February 2026; in August 2026 he agreed terms with Kütahyaspor.
