Burak Altıparmak — Biography
Burak Altıparmak (born 15 October 1990 in Berlin) is a footballer of Turkish and German nationality. Wikidata lists him as a citizen of both countries, and German-language sources describe him as a Turkish-German player, while Turkish sources present him simply as Turkish.
He came through the game in Germany, appearing in the setups of VfL Wolfsburg and 1. FC Magdeburg early in his career, before moving to Turkey, where Ankaraspor was among his clubs. He was registered with 1. Lig side Sakaryaspor during 2025 and was reported to have joined Elazığspor in February 2026.
In September 2025 he drew national attention when teammate Caner Erkin struck him during a Sakaryaspor match. The club subsequently left both players out of the squad, and each issued a statement to the press; the episode was covered by Hürriyet, Sabah, Milliyet, DHA and other Turkish outlets.
