Bülent Kaan Bilgen — Biography
Bülent Kaan Bilgen (born 5 April 1977) is an Austrian footballer of Turkish origin. A defender by position, he holds dual citizenship and began his professional career in 1997 with the Austrian club FC Tirol Innsbruck.
Over the course of his career he played for Kocaelispor and Körfez Belediyespor in Turkey, as well as FC Wacker Innsbruck, SC Schwaz, and FC Union Innsbruck in Austria.
Bilgen remains fondly remembered by football fans in the Kocaeli region; when he traveled from Austria to İzmit in 2021, he was honored with a commemorative plaque.
