Buğrahan Tuncer — Biography
Buğrahan Tuncer is a 1.93-metre Turkish professional basketball player who can run the offence as a point guard or score as a shooting guard. He won back-to-back EuroLeague titles with Anadolu Efes in 2021 and 2022, and he now plays for Galatasaray in the Basketbol Süper Ligi while also representing the Turkish national team.
His longest stop was Anadolu Efes, whom he joined in 2018 and stayed with for five seasons, renewing his contract in July 2020. He averaged 8.2 points per game in 2019-20. His most productive league year was 2021-22, when he averaged 9.7 points, 2.3 rebounds and 4.2 assists in 29 Basketbol Süper Ligi games and reached a season high of 25 points. Efes beat Real Madrid 58-57 in that year's EuroLeague final but lost the domestic league final to Fenerbahçe 3-1. He found limited minutes in the 2022-23 EuroLeague, and his time with Efes ended in June 2023.
On 24 June 2023 he signed with Galatasaray and has worn its colours since. He suffered a muscle tear in January 2026 and later returned to the court. In June 2026 the club announced a two-year extension of his contract. He married the actress Eda Ece in 2023.
