Bilal Aziz — Biography
Bilal Aziz Özer (born 1 July 1985 in Beirut) is a former footballer and coach of Turkish descent who grew up in Germany; sources describe him variously as German-Turkish or Turkish-Lebanese. Listed at 1.81 m, he played mainly as a left-back or centre-back and at times in midfield.
He started his career in Germany with clubs including Schalke 04's reserve side and VfL Osnabrück, then moved to Turkey in 2008. Over the following years he turned out in the Süper Lig, TFF First League and TFF Second League for Ankaraspor/Osmanlıspor, Konyaspor, Kayseri Erciyesspor, Kayserispor, Eskişehirspor and Kemerspor 2003, retiring in 2020.
After hanging up his boots he moved into coaching and served as assistant coach at the German club Eintracht Hohkeppel.
