Beykan Şimşek — Biography

Beykan Şimşek is a Turkish forward who came through the Fenerbahçe youth system to the first team and has since played in several divisions of Turkish football. In summer 2026 he left Elazığspor and signed for Eskişehirspor of the 3. Lig.

He started football at 12 with Isparta Gençlikspor, helped by his father, a former footballer; at the wish of his mother, a former basketball player, he also played basketball for a year before choosing football. At 14 he moved to Fenerbahçe and played in several of its age categories. In 2013 his performance at the Antalya camp, to which Aykut Kocaman called him, earned him a professional contract until 2016. On 23 January 2013 he came on against Bursaspor in the Turkish Cup and scored on his Fenerbahçe debut; in April 2013 he made his league debut against Orduspor. He then went on loan to Karabükspor, joined Sivasspor in summer 2015, and was loaned to Altınordu in 2017. In later years he wore the shirts of Osmanlıspor, Göztepe and Kocaelispor.

He arrived at Elazığspor in August 2023 and signed a new one-year deal in June 2024; in summer 2025 he said he had held no talks with other clubs and that Elazığspor came first. He was team captain in 2026. In June 2026 he said goodbye to Elazığspor, and in July he agreed terms with Eskişehirspor. His father too once played for Eskişehirspor.
