Berkan Emir — Biography

Berkan Emir is a Turkish footballer, born on 6 February 1988 in İzmit, who plays as a defender. He began his career with clubs including Karşıyaka, Kayserispor, Kahramanmaraşspor, Orhangazispor, Gümüşhanespor, Karacabey Belediyespor and Balıkesirspor, gaining experience across several tiers of Turkish football.

The longest stretch of his career came at İzmir club Göztepe, where he renewed his contract in 2019 and became a key regular in the squad. In 2022 he transferred to Istanbul side Eyüpspor, and in the years that followed he also featured for clubs in the amateur leagues.
