Benjamin Fuchs — Biography
Benjamin Fuchs (born 20 October 1983 in Nuremberg, Germany) is a former professional footballer who played as a right-back and now works as a coach. The son of a Turkish mother and an Austrian father, he also holds Turkish citizenship and therefore played in Turkey under a domestic player licence.
During his playing career he appeared for Eintracht Braunschweig, Greuther Fürth and Wehen Wiesbaden in Germany, and for Göztepe, Manisaspor, Konyaspor and Gaziantep Büyükşehir Belediyespor in Turkey. He was also capped by the Austria under-19 national team.
After retiring from playing he moved into coaching and took charge of Göztepe's under-19 side, leading the team to a final on the UEFA Youth League path in 2026.
