Bendeniz, born Deniz Çelik on 25 July 1973 in Zurich, Switzerland, is a Swiss-Turkish pop singer, composer and songwriter. Educated at Erenköy Girls High School, she rose to fame with the single 'Ya Sen Ya Hiç' from her 1993 debut album Bendeniz, whose accompanying hairstyle also made her a fashion icon of the era; in 1995 she won a gold record award in a competition held by a French television network.

Across a recording career spanning the 1990s to the 2010s she released albums including Bendeniz II, Bendeniz III, Zaman, Demedim mi, Aşk Yok mu Aşk and Değiştim, and recorded duets with Harun Kolçak and Volkan Akyol, reuniting with Kolçak on Değiştim twelve years after their first collaboration.

In the summer of 2026 she returned to the charts with the new single 'Matmazel' and continues to be active in music.
