Bayram Bektaş — Biography

Bayram Kadir Bektaş was born on 10 February 1974 in Trabzon. As a player, he operated mainly as a midfielder capable of playing in an attacking or wide role, and he was part of the Beşiktaş squad that won the Süper Lig title in the club's centenary season.

After retiring as a player, Bektaş earned his UEFA Pro coaching license and went on to serve as an assistant to Şenol Güneş with both the Turkish national team and Beşiktaş. He later took charge of Samsunspor and, most recently, TFF 2. Lig side Kahramanmaraş İstiklalspor, a spell that came to an end in March 2026.
