Bayan Alaguzova — Biography

Bayan Alaguzova is a Kazakhstani performer and businesswoman whose career runs from television presenting to music and film production. She began as an actress, singer and presenter and today heads the company BM Production. Born with the surname Mukhitdenova, she was for a time also known as Bayan Yessentayeva. In 2025 she was honored in Kazakhstan with a distinguished-service title.

She was born in Oral; after three years at a pedagogical institute she moved into cinema, then studied television journalism. Her first recognition came in 1993 with a role in the melodrama Station of Love. She worked seven years as a television news reporter, then launched her own programme Yellow Salon on Tan TV; when the channel closed she hosted On the Hairpin on NTK for two years. In 2006 she began producing the group KeshYOU. In 2008 she recorded the songs ABC of Love and Shine and for a period edited magazines. She acted in Cocktail for a Star, made in 2010 by her company Shine Production, and a sequel followed in 2011.

In 2013 she played the lead in Beware, cow!. In 2014 Zhanar Dugalova, whom she produces, won the Turkvision Song Contest, and the same year "Power" magazine placed her 21st on its list of the 50 most influential women in Kazakhstan (30th in 2013). She presented the film Sisitai in 2018, producing it and playing a producer character. Astana - My Love is also among her acting credits.
