Batuhan Karadeniz — Biography

Batuhan Karadeniz is a former Turkish professional footballer, born on 24 April 1991 in Istanbul, who played as a forward. Starting his career at İçerenköy İdman Yurdu at age 10, he rose through Beşiktaş's youth ranks between 2003 and 2007, made his Süper Lig debut in the 2007-08 season, and became the league's youngest ever scorer at 16 — a record later broken by Enes Ünal.

After leaving Beşiktaş in 2010, Karadeniz continued playing at Süper Lig level through the 2015-16 season with Eskişehirspor, Trabzonspor, Elazığspor and Sivasspor. He moved to FC St. Gallen in Switzerland in 2016 and then to Şanlıurfaspor, going on to play in TFF First League and Second League play-offs for four different clubs between 2017 and 2022, finishing as Second League play-off top scorer three times. He earned two caps for Turkey between 2008 and 2009 under coach Fatih Terim.

In November 2025, an international red notice was reportedly issued for Karadeniz and his assets seized in connection with an illegal betting investigation. Reports in April 2026 said he was detained in the United Arab Emirates and returned to Turkey.
