Batuhan Ahmet Şen — Biography

Batuhan Ahmet Şen is a Bakırköy-born goalkeeper from the Galatasaray youth system who spent years on the books of the yellow-and-red club. Much of his career went on loan spells to gain experience; in May 2026 he left Galatasaray and joined Fatih Karagümrük on a three-year contract.

He joined Galatasaray in 2016 and played for every Turkish youth national side from under-14 to under-19, and was also called up to the under-21s. The first phase of his professional life was loans: he was loaned to Hekimoğlu Trabzon and, in January 2021, to Menemenspor, coached by Ümit Karan; in August 2022 Galatasaray extended his contract to the end of 2025-26 and loaned him for a year to Süper Lig side Fatih Karagümrük. In 2023 he went to Süper Lig side Gaziantep on another one-year loan, announced in early August.

He signed for Kocaelispor in January 2025 and stayed only a few months there and returned to Galatasaray in May 2025. He was in the squad for Galatasaray's league-title seasons (2017-18, 2018-19, 2024-25, 2025-26) and for the Turkish Cup wins of 2018-19 and 2024-25. In 2026 he moved to relegated Fatih Karagümrük, who play in the TFF 1. Lig.
