Barış Ermiş — Biography

Barış Ermiş was born on 3 January 1985 in Istanbul and began his professional basketball career in 2003, playing as a point guard. Standing 1.93 metres tall, he wore the jersey of several leading Turkish clubs over the years, including Efes Pilsen, Tofaş Bursa, Banvit and Fenerbahçe Ülker, before moving to Galatasaray in 2020.

A member of the Turkish national team, Ermiş was part of the squad that won gold at the 2013 Mediterranean Games and collected one gold and one silver medal in international competition across his career. He announced his retirement from professional basketball on 27 August 2021.
