Barış Ekincier — Biography

Barış Ekincier is a Turkish-Azerbaijani footballer born on 24 March 1999 in Hemer, Germany, who plays as a midfielder. He began his career in Germany and represented Azerbaijan at various youth levels, including the under-17, under-19 and under-21 national teams.

At club level he has played for sides including Bochum and Ümraniyespor, scoring a hat-trick for Ümraniyespor against Serikspor in early 2026. In the summer of 2026 he signed a two-year contract with Elazığspor, moving to a new club.
