Barış Başdaş is a Turkish-German footballer born on 17 January 1990 in Cologne, Germany. Standing 1.88 metres tall, he has spent his career mainly as a centre-back and represented Turkey at several youth levels, including the under-21 and A2 national teams.
At club level he has turned out for sides such as Göztepe, Adana Demirspor, Kasımpaşa and Germany's Hannover 96, before joining Alanyaspor in 2018 and later returning to Yeni Malatyaspor in 2022.
