Azar Karadaş — Biography
Azar Karadas (born 9 August 1981 in Nordfjordeid) is a Norwegian former footballer of Turkish descent who later became a coach. He played primarily as a centre forward, though he could also operate as a central defender.
He began and ended his career at Brann, having three spells with the club, and won the Norwegian Tippeligaen title with both Brann and Rosenborg. He also played professionally in Portugal — for Benfica between 2004 and 2007, mostly out on loan — as well as in England, Germany and Turkey, where he appeared for Kasımpaşa; from 2012 he played for Sogndal.
Capped by the Norway national team, Karadas moved into coaching after retiring as a player.
