Ayşe Mine — Biography

Ayşe Mine (born 30 January 1961, Istanbul) is a Turkish singer and actress. Her real name is Ayşe Akyüz, and she is a high school graduate.

She began her artistic career in 1974 and became known especially in the 1980s as one of the prominent female vocalists of Turkish pop music. Alongside singing, she also worked as an actress.

Her screen appearances include the feature film Erkek Milleti (1986) and the television series Mutlugiller (1994). In recent years she has been in the news over health problems and underwent an operation lasting about five hours in 2025.
