Aylin Yıldızoğlu — Biography

Aylin Yıldızoğlu is known in Turkish women's basketball as a member of the national team that won gold at the 2005 Mediterranean Games. At club level she played for Ceyhan Belediyesi and Botaşspor, and she spent thirteen years playing for those two teams.

In 2003 she won three trophies in a single season with Botaşspor: the Turkish Women's Basketball League championship, the Turkish Cup and the President's Cup. In the summer of 2005, as captain of Botaşspor, she transferred back to Ceyhan Belediyesi. That same year she won gold with the national team at the Mediterranean Games held in Almería, Spain.

Since 1999 she has been married to Ceyhun Yıldızoğlu, coach of the Botaşspor women's team, and they have two children. Her husband was named coach of the year in 2012.
