Aykut Akgün — Biography
Aykut Akgün (born 18 September 1987 in Karlsruhe) is a German-Turkish former professional footballer and coach. An attacking midfielder standing 1.83 m tall, he holds both Turkish and German citizenship.
Akgün began his club career in Germany with Karlsruher SC before continuing in Turkey, where he played for Trabzonspor, Çaykur Rizespor, Adana Demirspor, Giresunspor, Karşıyaka and Kardemir Karabükspor. He returned to Bursaspor in 2021, signed for Çorum FK in February 2022 and joined amateur side Nilüfer Belediye FK in September 2022, his last club.
At international level he represented Turkey at under-20 level and also played for the Turkey A2 team.
