Aydın Kurtoğlu — Biography
Aydın Kurtoğlu (born January 24, 1983, in Rize) is a Turkish singer, composer, and songwriter, and the son of well-known artist Cengiz Kurtoğlu. He launched his music career in 2014 with the single “Köle,” accompanied by a music video, and followed it in 2015 with his debut EP “Hayırlı Günler” and a second single, “Öptüm”; that same year he was shortlisted as best newcomer at the Kral Turkey Music Awards. In October 2015, he lent his voice to the Grouchy Smurf character in the musical “Smurfs Live on Stage,” which opened in Istanbul before its Dubai premiere.
Kurtoğlu has continued releasing new music in recent years, putting out the single “Sonundayız Yolun” in the summer of 2026.
