Aydın Karabulut — Biography

Aydın Karabulut was born on 25 January 1988 in Berlin, where he also took his first steps in football, coming up through Hertha Berlin's youth ranks before his performances carried him into Turkey's junior national squads.

After breaking through at Beşiktaş in the middle of the 2005-06 season, he moved club after club: spells at Bursaspor, Ankaraspor, Ankaragücü, Bucaspor, Kardemir Karabükspor, Göztepe, Elazığspor, Gençlerbirliği and Sivasspor followed, and after a second stint at Bursaspor from 2014 he joined Antalyaspor on a free transfer in 2017. In 2018 he rejoined Sivasspor, and he later moved on from Kocaelispor, one of the final stops in his career, in January 2021. As a young player he earned caps for Turkey's under-18, under-19 and under-21 sides, and although he never won a full senior cap he did turn out for the senior side under Fatih Terim in a 2014 friendly against Kosovo.
