Aybüke Arslan — Biography

Aybüke Arslan is a women's midfielder from Trabzon who won a league title with Trabzonspor's women's team, then played for Trabzon İdmanocağı and for Turkey's youth national teams. Both clubs she played for are from her home city.

She received her licence at Trabzonspor on 20 March 2008 and played three seasons in the Women's First League. After her first season she reached the championship in 2008-09, finished second in 2009-10 and took part in that season's UEFA Women's Champions League. She made 28 appearances and scored five goals for Trabzonspor. When Trabzonspor closed its women's football branch at the end of 2010-11 she moved to rival Trabzon İdmanocağı; she did not play in 2012-13 and returned the following season. With İdmanocağı she finished third in the league in 2011-12 and 2014-15.

Her international path began with the Turkey girls' U-17 side: she made her debut in a friendly against Bulgaria on 26 June 2009, played in Group 4 of the 2010 UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship and scored one goal in nine appearances. She joined the U-19 side with a friendly against Russia on 5 February 2010, played in the first qualifying round of the 2011 UEFA Women's U-19 Championship and at the 2012 Kuban Spring Tournament, and made seven appearances for that team.
