Ayben — Biography

Ayben Özçalkan Ülkü was born on 22 September 1982 in the Üsküdar district of Istanbul. She emerged as one of Turkey's first female rap artists and is regarded as one of the country's most successful women MCs.

Throughout her career she has released collaborative tracks with artists such as Ceza and Killa Hakan, reaching wide audiences through these partnerships. She also appeared in the 2005 documentary film "Crossing the Bridge: The Sound of Istanbul," performing alongside other artists who represent Turkey's diverse musical scene.
