Atilla Koca — Biography

Atilla Koca is a Turkish footballer born in Torul, in the Gümüşhane province, who spent his career as a goalkeeper. He began playing football in the Fenerbahçe youth system and, as a professional, kept goal for a long list of clubs, among them Eskişehirspor, Sivasspor, Kayseri Erciyesspor, Adanaspor and Diyarbakırspor.

His first major stop after Fenerbahçe was Eskişehirspor: the goalkeeper arrived on a free transfer at the start of the 2009-10 season, and his contract ended on 31 May 2011. At the start of 2011-12 he joined Sivasspor, then coached by Rıza Çalımbay, who had worked with him before. On 28 December 2012 he signed an 18-month contract with Kayseri Erciyesspor; the club's 2012-13 First League success is listed among the honours of his career. In June 2014 he transferred to Adanaspor. Çaykur Rizespor, Kartalspor, Sakaryaspor and Darıca Gençlerbirliği are also among the teams he played for. In later years he retired from active football.
