Atakan Çankaya is a Turkish footballer, 1.80 m tall, born on 25 June 1998 in İzmir. He began his professional career with Altay's youth setup in 2016, and his performances for Süper Lig side Fatih Karagümrük later drew attention from major clubs such as Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray.
He left Karagümrük in January 2026 and transferred to TFF 1. Lig club Iğdır FK. By July 2026 his name had resurfaced in transfer speculation, with reports pointing to a possible move away from the club.
