Aslı Güngör — Biography

Aslı Güngör is a Turkish pop singer, composer and songwriter, born on 27 September 1979 in İzmir. She entered the music scene after being discovered through the "TRT İzmir Gençlik Korosu" talent competition while a student at Dokuz Eylül University, and went on to appear alongside Enbe Orkestrası in DMC's "Pop Music Project" with the songs "İzmir Bilir Ya" and "Kalp Kalbe Karşı."

She released her self-titled debut album on 22 January 2009; its lead single "Son Öpücük" became a widely popular hit, followed by the video for "Dön Gel Yeter," released on Valentine's Day. Her second album, "Aşk Alev Aldı," came out through Sony Music in 2010 and included a music video for the track "Ben de Dahil." These achievements earned her the Best Breakthrough Female Artist award at the 35th Golden Butterfly Awards.

Still closely associated with her breakout hit "Kalp Kalbe Karşı," Güngör continues to perform at summer festivals and municipal events across the İzmir and Muğla region.
