Aslı Güngör — Biography

Aslı Güngör is a pop singer, composer and songwriter who reached a wide audience with Kalp Kalbe Karşı, released in 2008. Years later she is still best known for that song, and she continues to give concerts at summer festivals and municipal events; in 2026 she performed at the May 19 celebrations in Gaziemir and at the Honaz Cherry Festival.

She began in music as a student at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Dokuz Eylül University, through the TRT İzmir Gençlik Korosu talent competition. She finished studio recordings of songs she had composed in İzmir in 2007, and appeared with Enbe Orkestrası in DMC's Pop Music Project with Kalp Kalbe Karşı and İzmir Bilir Ya. The first song was filmed as a duet video with Ferhat Göçer, was voted song of the year in a radio listeners' poll in 2008, entered the Buddha Bar 11 compilation and topped digital sales. Her first album, Aslı Güngör (January 2009), kept that momentum: the videos for Son Öpücük and for Dön Gel Yeter, released on Valentine's Day, drew attention, and the album set a digital sales record. In 2010 came Aşk Alev Aldı through Sony Music and the video for Ben de Dahil; later she released the album Enerji (2013) and singles such as Meleklerin Yolu and Unutursun.

She won Best Breakthrough Female Artist at the 35th Golden Butterfly Awards. She has also written words and music for Erol Evgin, Sinan Özen and Güney Yılmaz.
