Asena Yalçın — Biography
Asena Yalçın, born on 4 April 1991 in İzmir, is a former Turkish basketball player who played as a point guard. Having risen through the youth ranks of Ceyhan Belediyespor, the 1.70 m guard represented clubs including Bornova Beckerspor, Mersin Büyükşehir Belediyespor and Galatasaray during her career, and was capped for the Turkish national team in 2018, the same year she took part in the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup.
In the final stretch of her career she captained Çimsa ÇBK Mersin, lifting the FIBA Women's European Cup with the club in the spring of 2026 before retiring from the sport shortly afterward.
