Arman İnci — Biography
Arman İnci is a German actor born on February 4, 1991, in Berlin to a family of Turkish descent. His grandfather, Kemal İnci, was a well-known film director in Turkey, and his mother worked as a presenter for TD1, a Turkish-German local television channel broadcasting out of Berlin — an environment that led to his first small on-screen role at the age of six.
İnci's breakthrough came with the 2000 German production Eine Hand voll Gras (A Handful of Grass), in which he played the character Kendal; the performance earned him recognition as best child actor at the Cannes Film Festival and made him widely known in Germany. He went on to appear as Juan in Spiel des Schicksals, adapted from a novel by American author Barbara Wood, and in 2003 took on the role of Murat in the two-part production Das Hühnerparadies. That same year, following Das Monster im Nebel, he appeared in five further films, marking a particularly prolific stretch of his early acting career.
