Arda Kızıldağ — Biography

Arda Kızıldağ is a centre-back who came up through the Gençlerbirliği academy and has become a familiar name in Gaziantep FK's defence in the Süper Lig. At 1.87 m, he has played regularly in the back line over several seasons and is counted among the players who give the squad continuity.

He started football in 2008 in the Gençlerbirliği academy. He turned professional at the start of the 2017-2018 season with Hacettepe, a second-tier side that served as Gençlerbirliği's feeder team. At the start of 2019-2020 he joined the first team and made his first-team debut in the Süper Lig against Gazişehir Gaziantep on 26 August 2019, a game Gençlerbirliği lost 4-0. In May 2022 he left the club that developed him, and on 16 June 2022 he signed a three-year contract with Gaziantep FK. He renewed that bond in June 2025.

He has also tasted success in national colours: he was part of the Turkey U23 team that won the 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games. In March 2026 a booking limit kept him out of the match against Fenerbahçe.
