Altay Bayındır — Biography
Altay Bayındır was born on 14 April 1998 in the Osmangazi district of Bursa and has built his reputation as a commanding goalkeeper standing 1.98 meters tall. He came through the Ankaragücü youth ranks before joining Fenerbahçe in July 2019, where he made 145 appearances, and signed for Manchester United in September 2023.
Capped 14 times for Turkey at youth level, Bayındır made his senior international debut in May 2021 and has since guarded the net at both UEFA Euro 2020 and Euro 2024. Ahead of the 2026 World Cup he spoke publicly about the national team's ambitions, saying the goal was to win the tournament.
