Alper Potuk — Biography

Born on 8 April 1991, Alper Potuk grew up in Bolvadin, a district of Afyonkarahisar province, as the second of three children born to a factory-worker father and a homemaker mother. Because of his father's work, the family relocated first to Bandırma and later to the Çifteler district of Eskişehir. He took his first steps in football with an amateur club in Çifteler before his talent earned him a move to Eskişehirspor's youth setup in 2005.

He broke into the senior side in 2009 and quickly established himself as a regular midfielder, going on to make more than a hundred league appearances for the club. In 2013 he signed a five-year deal with Fenerbahçe, where he won a league title, and he also represented Turkey's U-19, U-20 and U-21 national teams as a youth player. He left Ankara Keçiörengücü at the end of 2025 and signed for Bodrum FK that February, extending his midfield career with the coastal club.
