Alp Gün — Biography

Coskun Kaan Alper Sendilmen, usually shortened to Alper Sendilmen (born 4 July 1980 in West Berlin), is a Berlin-based rapper and actor of Turkish descent, widely known under the stage name Alpa Gun; in Turkish sources his name is occasionally rendered Alp Gün. He grew up in the Schöneberg neighbourhood and holds both German and Turkish citizenship. His stage name combines "Alpa", an abbreviation of his first name, with "gun", the English word for a firearm. In 2004 he signed with the Berlin label Sektenmuzik, joining the rap collective Die Sekte, and his music sits firmly in the gangsta rap and hip hop tradition shaped by the hard-edged sound of Berlin street rap.

His debut studio album Geladen und entsichert appeared in 2007 and was propelled by the singles Ausländer and Verbotene Liebe. A year later he released the EP Aufstand auf den billigen Plätzen alongside the single Mein Weg. During 2010 he first put out the EP Meine Bestimmung and then the album Almanci, whose title alludes to the lives of Turks settled in Germany. Throughout the following decade his output expanded steadily: Ehrensache (2012), Alles kommt zurück (2013), Geboren um zu Sterben (2014), Ehrensache 2 (2015), Zurück zur Straße (2016), Walther-P (2017), Alpacino (2017) and Ehrensache Reloaded (2018).

As his career progressed he increasingly concentrated on standalone singles. Einfach Strasse and Immer Wenn Es Nacht Wird arrived in 2019, with Geschichten and Celia following in 2020. After Fiasko in 2022 and Ince His in 2024, he issued a prolific string of tracks in 2025 that included Majestät, Phönix aus der Asche, Racon, Ein Liebeslied, Gnade, Fasa Fiso, Safe and Coşalım, before releasing HAYIR OLSUN in 2026.

Alongside his musical activities he has also worked in front of the camera: he played the role of "Adal" in the 2011 film Blutzbrüdaz and appeared in the 2013 production Verbrechen.
