Aleko Yordan — Biography

Aleko Yordan (born Alekos Iordanou; Greek: Αλέκος Ιορδάνου) was a Turkish international footballer, and later a coach, born on January 10, 1938, in Istanbul. He played as a center-half for Beyoğluspor and Beykoz, and earned three caps for the Turkish national team.

In 1964 he was transferred to Greece's AEK for a fee of 50,000 Turkish lira plus revenue from two matches, and spent the second half of his playing career there. He died in Greece on September 21, 2019, at the age of 81.
