Akın Vardar — Biography
Akın Vardar (born 2 April 1978 in Kuyucak, Aydın Province) is a retired Turkish footballer who played as a goalkeeper.
He began his career at his hometown club Aydınspor, becoming a regular starter in the 1999/2000 season and making 140 appearances for the club until the winter break of 2002/03.
Sivasspor signed him during that winter break; in the 2007/08 season he deputised for the injured Michael Petkovic in 15 matches. He left for Karşıyaka in January 2011 and, after spells at two further lower-league clubs, retired in 2013.
