Ahmet Kuru — Biography
Ahmet Kuru (born 23 April 1982 in Rotenburg an der Wümme, Germany) is a Turkish former professional footballer who played as a striker. Born and raised in Germany, he holds both Turkish and German citizenship.
He came through the youth system of Werder Bremen and, after appearing for the club's reserves, played for Eintracht Braunschweig and FC St. Pauli. He spent the rest of his career in Turkey, where he ended his playing days.
Kuru announced his retirement from professional football in 2016.
