Agah Hün — Biography
Agâh Hün was born on 12 January 1918 in Istanbul, the brother of fellow stage actor Hadi Hün. After completing his training at the Ankara State Conservatory in 1942, he began his career at the State Theatre.
He moved to Küçük Sahne in 1951 and later worked with Oda Tiyatrosu, Küçük Opera and the Istanbul City Theatre, from which he eventually retired. His distinctive voice and stage-honed craft carried over naturally into film and television work.
During the Yeşilçam era he appeared as a character actor in dozens of films and television productions, and he is remembered for playing the imam in the 1974 film Şeytan. He also worked as a voice actor, director and screenwriter before his death in Istanbul on 24 July 1990.
