Adnan Süvari — Biography
Adnan Süvari (1926, Aydın – June 6, 1991, Antalya) was a Turkish football player and coach.
As a manager he is best remembered for his spell in charge of Göztepe. Under his leadership the club reached the semifinals of the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup in the 1968–69 season and the quarterfinals of the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup in 1969–70, one of the first major European achievements in Turkish football.
Known as "Futbolun Süvarisi" ("the Cavalryman of Football"), Süvari died of a heart attack in Antalya on June 6, 1991; a park in the Karabağlar district of İzmir bears his name.
