Adnan Güngör — Biography

Adnan Güngör is a Turkish footballer, born on 20 September 1980 in Samsun, who plays as a defensive midfielder. He began his career in the youth ranks of his hometown club Samsunspor, making his Süper Lig debut in the 1999-2000 season.

Over the course of his career he turned out for clubs including Trabzonspor, Hacettepe, Diyarbakırspor, Konyaspor and Adanaspor, as well as Karşıyaka, and was capped once by Turkey's under-21 national team. He rejoined Samsunspor as team captain in the summer of 2013, and in the later stages of his career played for Kocaeli Birlikspor and, finally, Sakaryaspor.
