Adnan Erkan — Biography
Adnan Erkan (born 15 January 1968 in Denizli) is a former Turkish international goalkeeper. He spent most of his playing career with Ankaragücü and Denizlispor, also turning out for Konyaspor and Mersin İdmanyurdu. He was part of Turkey's squad at the 1996 UEFA European Championship as third-choice goalkeeper, and although called up to the senior national team eleven times, he earned his only cap in a match against Azerbaijan on 9 April 1996; he also represented Turkey at under-21 and Olympic level.
After retiring from playing, Erkan moved into club management, serving as sporting director of Denizlispor between 2010 and 2012 and later as coach of Denizli Belediyespor. In the years that followed he held sporting-director positions at several Süper Lig clubs, including Ankaragücü, Konyaspor, and Gaziantep FK.
