Adil Şan — Biography
Adil Şan (born 12 September 1980 in the Bayırbucak region of Latakia, Syria), born Adel Alıssa, is a Syrian Turkmen-Turkish singer and poet.
In 2015 he represented Syria at the Turkvision Song Contest held in Istanbul with the song "Geliş", finishing fifth with 165 points. The song later gained wide popularity after being featured in the Turkish series "Diriliş: Ertuğrul".
Şan continues to perform melodies of the Turkic world at cultural events in Turkey and abroad.
