Abdülkerim Bardakçı — Biography

Abdülkerim Bardakcı was born in Konya's Meram district on 7 September 1994. He spent his early childhood with his family in Zonguldak, where he first played football in the Zonguldakspor youth ranks; once the family resettled in Konya in 2009 he joined Konyaspor's academy and turned professional in 2011.

Sent out on loan by Konyaspor to a string of clubs, he wore the colours of Samsunspor, Giresunspor, Adana Demirspor, Denizlispor, Anadolu Selçukluspor and Altay in turn, winning a second-tier title with Denizlispor that carried the club into the top flight. From the early 2020s he became a regular centre-back for Konyaspor before signing with Galatasaray in the summer of 2022, where he has since claimed two league titles and a domestic Super Cup. He has also been capped by the Turkey national side and featured at the 2024 European Championship.
