Abdülkerim Bardakçı was born on 7 September 1994 in the Meram district of Konya. The 1.90 m tall centre-back began his career in the Konyaspor academy and also played for Adana Demirspor before moving to the top flight.
Since joining Galatasaray, he has established himself as one of the Süper Lig's regular central defenders and has become a fixture of the Turkey national team, featuring for his country at the 2024 European Championship.
